Fees

The International Student Program is open to fee paying students in Kindergarten to grade 12 level (ages 5 to 18 years) Normally, International Elementary students aged 5-12 years (grades K-7) will only be considered if they are accompanied by and live with a biological parent.

Refund Policy

All requests for refunds must be made in writing to the School District No. 6 (Rocky Mountain). Refund requests must include the original Letter of Acceptance issued by School District No. 6 as well as any relevant supporting documentation from Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

full refund, less the application fee, will be given if Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) does not approve a student study permit. To obtain a full refund, contact us immediately to inform us of the visa rejection via email, fax or telephone. Following that, a written request for a refund must be made within 60 days of the study permit rejection.

2/3 refund, less application fees, will be given when a student withdraws from the Rocky Mountain International Student Program or becomes a permanent resident prior to the first day of the student’s term of study.

1/2 refund, less application fees, will be given when a student withdraws from the Rocky Mountain International Student Program or becomes a permanent resident after the term of study has begun but before 30 calendar days have elapsed from the beginning of the study period.

No refund may be granted to:

  • a student who withdraws from the Rocky Mountain International Student Program after 30 calendar days from the commencement of the term of study;
  • a student who withdraws or becomes a permanent resident after 30 days from the commencement of the program;
  • a student who is dismissed from the Rocky Mountain International Student Program for breaking the law, breaching the terms of his/her study permit or failing to abide by the terms and conditions of the International Student Contract as determined by the administration of the Rocky Mountain International Student Program and/or School District No. 6.

Airport transfer at start/end of program to/from the designated airport is included in fees.  Transport at any other time to/from an airport will incur an additional fee of $150 each way.

No airport transfer by staff or host families to/from Calgary (YYC) is permitted for any community or any purpose due to legal/insurance reasons. Students are not permitted to arrange private transfers or travel alone.
