I’ve enjoyed living in Golden since 2003 and what I love most about this town are the friendly people and the outdoor recreational opportunities.  Golden has one of the best ski resorts in Canada, an amazing network of mountain bike trails and beautiful views of the Purcell and Rocky Mountains. Since working for RMISP as homestay coordinator in 2008, I have been able to share this amazing place with students from all over the world. It’s such a rewarding experience when students get excited trying something new like skiing in 40cm of powder. I love it when they tell me that living in Canada has been the best experience of their life. Now that I’m the program coordinator for Golden, Revelstoke and Invermere, I have 2 more awesome towns to share great adventures in with our students and homestay coordinators!
