The Rocky Mountain International Student Program sponsors a wide variety of activities, events and trips for participating students. Optional Spring Break Trip to Vancouver

5-Day Vancouver Tour

Approximately $1,695 CAD 

RMISP is offering an optional 5-day trip to Vancouver (tentatively March 22-26, 2026). This is an exciting opportunity to see another part of beautiful British Columbia and get away with your friends during Spring Break.  

The sample itinerary below is subject to change.  
 
Sunday, March 22: Flight to Vancouver, check in at hotel, dinner at Chinese restaurant, swimming at hotel pool.
Monday, March 23: Grouse Mountain tour and activities, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Group lunch included. 
Tuesday, March 24: Stanley Park, FlyOver Canada, Canada Place, free time at Pacific Centre and Robson Street, walking tour of Gastown. Group dinner included.
Wednesday, March 25: University of British Columbia tour, Museum of Anthropology, free time at Granville Island and Metrotown. 
Thursday, March 26: Free breakfast at hotel, check out, arrive at Vancouver Airport for departure. 

** We suggest bringing $20-$25 for each lunch and $25-$30 for each dinner that are not included in the itinerary.

The trip fee includes roundtrip airfare from Cranbrook or Kelowna, ground transportation, chaperones, 4 nights hotel (quad occupancy), daily breakfasts, some group dinners and some activities like FlyOver Canada, UBC's Museum of Anthropology, and Capilano Suspension Bridge. We will also visit Canada Place, Stanley Park, Granville Island and Metrotown Mall, Vancouver's largest mall. 
  • Registration opens in September
  • Deadline to sign up: December 19
  • A minimum of 20 students is required to run this trip.  
  • Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Your space is not secured until your deposit payment has been paid. 
  • More information will be provided at Student Orientation and at weekly lunch meetings.
