Hello! I'm Laurie Brown. I have lived with my husband and family in the North Okanagan for 10 years and love this beautiful part of our province. Along with my husband, I have also lived and worked in China and Japan teaching English at British Columbia international schools. It has been a privilege to experience living in different countries and learning about new cultures.

My experiences abroad have shown me the tremendous value gained through cross-cultural experiences. Working in the Rocky Mountain International Student Program allows me to partner with our wonderful host families in welcoming and engaging with students from all over the world while helping them experience life in Canada!
