Local day trips resume!
RMISP is delighted to be able to offer program activities once again. We have adapted our Experience Schedule to offer local day trips that do not require out-of-zone bussing, when and where possible. This means that our international students can once again enjoy program trips and activities without compromising student safety or impacting the regular transportation requirements of our schools.
Students in Revelstoke, Vanderhoof, Burns Lake and Fort St. James were able to enjoy dogsledding and snowshoeing in their communities. SD91 students also enjoyed an in-zone ski day at Murray Ridge Ski Area, where students had lessons and some free time on the hill.
We have a few more trips in the works for the rest of the school year, and we are looking forward to travelling a little further afield, as soon as it's safe to do so.
