Host parents and RMISP staff members attended to over 80 students arriving and departing on more than 30 flights during the last weekend in January, marking the end of semester one and beginning of semester two. Several flights were cancelled or delayed due to a snowstorm that dropped 27 centimeters of fresh snow on Canadian Rockies International Airport in Cranbrook, but students, staff and host parents demonstrated resilience, flexibility and good humor despite the challenges. RMISP is extremely appreciative of the caring host parents and dedicated staff involved.
Newly arrived students completed school and program orientations during the week of January 30th and are now settling into their homestays and schools. Welcome, new students!
